TSOL's new album: "Divided We Stand" is due
out September 9th on Nitro Records. The song "Darker
My Love" didn't end up making the album after all,
but "Shine", another song created in 1983
did. Check out this teaser

TSOL will be playing September 20th at the Galaxy Theater
in Santa Ana. Be sure not to miss this one because Greg
Kuehn will be there with his keyboard ready to play
all the new stuff and tons of old stuff from "Beneath
the Shadows". Travis Johnson is still drumming
for Jack, Mike and Ron. The drummer on the actual new
album is different. From now on it looks like the official
band will be known by the official 3 members. The drummer
may not always be the same. Check out the Nitro
Site.
In other news: Like you may have heard Jack Grisham
is officially in the running for the Governor Of California.
Register and vote. Jack is very serious about this,

TSOL are in the studio recording the new album. Tracking
started on Friday, Feb. 14th in Hollywood, CA. The new
album will be produced by David Bianco of Frank Black
and Tom Petty fame. Jack says the record is coming along
great and that Greg Kuehn (Beneath The Shadows) has
come aboard for some keyboard work. I have added a historic
MP3 to the site thanks to Bob Emory for recording. This
is Code
Blue Live at the House Of Blues, listen for a gunshot
to go off (shooting actually took place on the side
of the stage) at exactly 1 minute 17 seconds. Nobody
seemed to notice until after the song since the music
was so loud. Check it out.

TSOL have finished writing songs for the new record
and will start recording soon. Ed Culver long time TSOL
/punk photo god is shooting the cover. The song "Darker
My Love" will be re-recorded for the new record. Jay
is no longer in the band as most of you already know,
instead you may have noticed that Travis Johnson from
the Dickies has been pounding on the drums for TSOL
lately. Your last chance to see TSOL live before they
record will be at the House Of Blues with the Adolescents.

The message board is back to normal. I have posted some
more updates in the "Tour Dates" section that
Blaze just sent me. Check out the "Downloads"
section as well. I put a bunch of old TSOL video clips
back up. Let me know if there is anything else you want

Shows page has been updated. Hopefully the slow "message
board problem" will be resolved soon. There is
a new opening on the site for now, it might change soon.

Because of the events unfolding in the US, Asia and
the Middle East, TSOL has decided to cancel their European
tour this Nov/Dec. With the uncertainty that comes with
this war, and in consideration of their own family members,
the band has opted to stay in the US until the global
situation has steadied. We apologize to the fans who
are let down by this decision and those who worked hard
to bring TSOL to the European community. We can only
say thanks for your support and interest in TSOL and
hope that you understand our decision.

In
other TSOL news, I will do the best I can to help this
site move faster by creating continue pages for area's
on the site that have a lot of content, an example would
be now at the bottom of all of this news. Scroll down
and you will see what I mean. As for the message board.
I contacted the guy that designed it, I requested that
the messages be deleted after about 100 posts that way
the page won't have to load every message ever posted.
I have also added a lot more reviews from the last tour
to the reviews section.

TSOL on Plea for Peace comp. hey everybody, TSOL is
one of 28 bands who have a (mostly unreleased or rare)
track on the new Plea for Peace/Take Action comp on
Subcity/Hopeless records. Their track is called "Sold",
it's from the disappear sessions, but is not on the
album. So this comp is the only place you can hear it.
It's only $6 including postage from www.subcity.net,
and has 27 other tracks from great bands like Hot Water
Music, Alkaline Trio, The Atari's, Boy Sets Fire, INC,
At The Drive-In, Good Riddance, AFI and a bunch more...
the proceeds go to help kids who are victims of domestic
violence, rape, are suicidal and many other problems.

Depending on your Internet Service Provider, not everyone
was able to view the new site from the day it was put
up. That should be fixed now. I have fixed the "History"
page. There have been updates to many others sections
on the site in just the last few days. The new "Message
Board" is up and running. The form review is working
too. More updates soon.

Well, the tour starts today (which the
new website design hopes to commemorate),
wish the boys luck and hope to see you out
in droves. Special thanks to the Offspring
for taking us out, and to Tiger Army, The
Nerve Agents, Murder City Devils, The Explosion,
Good Riddance and Agnostic Front for teaming
up with us. Should be tons of fun. The "Pyro"
video should be out soon, look for it and
call up video shows asking for it. We'll also
be posting it here at some point, too. The
album is selling well, thanks for your support,
it's really amazing to see how much there
is. We are fully insured this tour, so dance

Here's the deal, finally another new look
for the site. There is a new "History"
page to end lots of confusion about the band.
New Pictures from the "Pyro" video

I have updated the "Discography",
there are some new interviews, new flyers,
new pictures (old and new). Also a "Media"
section has been added for those of you who
can use it. There is also a new MPEG video
in the "Downloads" section that
has never been up before and I put up the
live MP3 of "Terrible People" again.
I've got more stuff, and it's going up periodically,
so keep checking back. Also if the Review
submission forms and Message Board are not
working, its because we are switching servers,
give me time and it will be worked out soon.

Today marks the official release of the new album
by TSOL: "Disappear". Twenty years after
the bands first release (1981-2001) with "Thom
Wilson" producing and engineering for TSOL
again (other TSOL records that Thom Wilson
produced were: "Dance With Me", "Weathered
Statues", and "Beneath The Shadows").
It features the original band: Vocals/Jack Grisham,
Guitar/Ron Emory, Bass/Mike Roche and new Drummer
- long time friend - and Protégé of
Todd Barnes/ Jay O'Brien. (Todd Barnes
R.I.P.) Also today is the re-release of the
bands 1982 album "Beneath The Shadows"
both available to buy at Nitro
Records. Also there is a contest going on to
win tickets to the Glasshouse show and the full

"We will be filming a video for "Pyro" Next Monday,
June 18 at the Garage in LA. the Address is 4519
Santa Monica Blvd (at Virgil). I think we're starting
around 6pm, I'll keep you informed. We will likely
be charging a small fee, like $4-5 to help pay for
the video costs. This won't be like a regular show,
but the band will perform a few songs, and it's
your chance to get your mug in their video, some
come on down. It's over 21 inside, but we will be
shooting some scenes outside, too, so everybody

news: The party that TSOL just played was great. If
you missed it, then you missed Jack trying to turn the
BBQ into a bomb by throwing a full can of lighter fluid
into the flame and covering it. Later an entire mattress
was burned to the ground in front of TSOL as they played.
Amazingly enough the black smoke in the sky didn't bring
out the cops and TSOL played on. It was a good show.
I'm working on a new look for the site to go with the
new releases. I have tons of new stuff to put up.

Everything is worked out and the new record will definitely
be coming out. As soon as I receive the release date
it will be posted here. Also I am working on a page
that explains the full history of TSOL. This will help
explain how over the years TSOL went through a complete
band change up and through all the twists and turns
managed to end up back the way the group stated, The
Original True Sounds Of Liberty.

New weekly movie of an old TSOL reunion with Todd Barnes

track of "Automatic". The other cover songs
that were added yesterday will be taken down in a few
more days so if you want to hear them you should download

I put up a few different MP3's on the Downloads page
for a few days, check them out. New movie footage and
another new song (live) will be added on Wednesday.
Thanks for all the e-mail's about the message board,
I'll have it running again in a few days. As you may
have heard things are looking a little better for the
new release. Progress has been made, so hopefully it
won't be that long before we see a new TSOL album. You
will be updated when new information comes in. TSOL
is in Texas right now, so check out the Tour Dates page
for the nearest show.

Well you heard it,
I saw Jack last night and he told me to put up some
new live tracks that I just received. So the old demo's
are going down (but you know where to find them now)
and I'm starting off with the new song "Terrible
People" from the Chain Reaction show (thanks to
Big Paul). The movie of the week is also a another new
song from that show although the footage is weak. There
is also an update in the pictures section. I have been
receiving lots of pictures and flyers through E-mail,
thanks for all the contributions. It is getting a little
overwhelming, I don't think every single picture will
go up here because some aren't the best quality and
some just don't cut it. I don't want to clutter the
site with just any old pictures, I want the best. So
try to send in only the shots that look really great.
Also if the pictures are from another web site, please
send me the link as well. But I do have some great new
shots and scans that were sent in so I will try to get
them up soon, and there is some great unseen footage
of old TSOL going up next week so check it out.

I have started the process of fixing the bugs in the
site that were giving some people trouble viewing the
site on certain browsers and on Macintosh computers.
Things should look a lot better for those of you who
were experiencing those problems. Frames have been added
for the menu bar so that it should almost always be
visible to make browsing the site more convenient. A
new Merchandise page has been added, although it is
still only in the beginning stage. Here is the real
bonus of the day, the final 2 extremely rare tracks
from the TSOL "1980 demo" have been added
to the "Downloads" page (formerly the "Audio"
page). These Mp3's were made right from the original
record that I just received. I went out and bought a
new record player (then returned it as soon as I was
done) to make the best quality recordings of the 2 songs
for the site. I hope all of you enjoy these rarities.

A new list of upcoming shows was added to the Tour Dates
section. Another rotated movie in the audio section
that has been up before, but next week I'll have some
new footage. New reviews have been posted. Submit your
review to be added in. Jack says they will eventually
begin working on the "lost" record. It's a
full album that was never totally completed. It was
originally set for release after "Beneath The Shadows".
No word yet on the actual plans for the record. Check
later in the week for a new merchandise page and rare
audio downloads (not the new stuff) that you won't find
anywhere else.

New movie in the audio section. I'm working on adding
a bunch of other stuff for the future. The reviews section
works now. Send in your reviews, you won't see them
immediately, but at least they will be forwarded to
me now and I will add them to the reviews section every
week.

Complete mp3 of 80 Times rare demo version from 1980
has been added to the audio section. One more MPEG of
some old TSOL footage has been added to the audio section.
To save disk space the MPEG movies will rotate in and
out each week. If you miss one it will eventually be
up in weeks to come through the rotation of the movies.
Also an added link to all articles about Jack &
TSOL from the OC Weekly in the Interviews section.

A pre-show party has been set up from 3 - 6pm at Linda's
Doll Hutt - 107 South Adams in Anaheim. The location
is right near the Chain Reaction show on the 27th of
January. Also a link was added to the "Rage"
punk documentary movie web site that features music
by Jack Grisham, check it out! Plus added tour dates.

web site. Check for a new discography, pictures, flyers,
anti-cop art, online audio interviews in the interview
section, some new rare music (real player) in the audio

Hey, thanks everyone for coming out over the weekend,
the glasshouse was out of control! Hope you liked the
new songs, and check out the tour page, because there
are some new dates up. We're having the songs mixed
this week, so all's going forward with that. We will
be putting up some songs early on mp3 here soon. Keep
an eye out, and we'll try and give updates more frequently,
and try to get the guys more involved in the site and
put their own touches on it. Ignore heroes!

TSOL is in the studio right now, as most of you know.
Thom Wilson and the guys are recording 18 tracks; 11
or so will make the record, others will be used for
other things, like a single that should come out in
December... some working song titles are "Sodomy", "Socialite",
"Anti-cop", "Terrible People" and "White American".
It's going great so far and is slated for February release
on Nitro Records - you're gonna be satisfied. Meanwhile
the band are doing some west coast dates, such as the
ones listed in the tour dates section, and hopefully
adding more soon. Thanks for your support!

Records, and will be released in February. TSOL hope
to release a single in late November. Thom Wilson
